Introduction to Proteomics Data Analysis

Topics/Contents:
Mass spectrometry (MS)-based proteomics experiments generate ever-larger number of peptide/protein identifications and the analysis of such big data requires special tools. This course will discuss a typical workflow for MS data analysis, from raw data through protein identification, quantitation and annotation, up to data visualisation and interpretation. In the practical part, participants will perform computational analysis using the publicly available Perseus software. 
This course aims to provide attendees with the practical knowledge they need to process proteomics data in their own future research.
